Change The Form Of Declaration For Entry Into Thailand

From May 1, 2025, foreign passengers must declare their entry into Thailand digitally, instead of paper declarations.

ENTRY PROCEDUREE INTO THAILAND
From 1 May 2025, Thailand will change the form of entry declaration. Accordingly, all foreign passengers entering Thailand will make a Digital Arrival Declaration (TDAC) instead of a paper declaration.

International visitors will be required to make an online declaration within three days before their trip to enter Thailand. Access the declaration form here. The TADC or declaration card has the same content as the previous paper form, except that it can be made online. 

Changes to entry procedures into Thailand from 1/5/2025

After completing the procedure, the authentication information will be sent to the visitor’s personal email. Visitors need to present the email and this card at the Thai immigration counter. According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), this new system will help process entry faster, more accurately and more securely.

ENTRY LAW INTO THAILAND
– All international passengers must complete a digital arrival confirmation card before entering Thailand.

– Foreigners staying in Thailand for more than 90 days must notify in writing the Immigration Officer near their place of residence. This must be repeated every 90 days.

– Foreigners cannot work without a Work Permit.

– Passengers who do not have to declare their entry include: passengers in transit or transferring planes through immigration control.
