Aerial images from today’s flight rehearsal reveal the capital’s blend of heritage sites and towering modernity ahead of National Day.
This morning, helicopters trailing the Party and national flags, along with fighter jets including the Yak-130 and Su-30MK2, conducted a rehearsal flight over downtown Hanoi.
This marked the second aerial drill by the Air Force flying over Ba Dinh Square and various urban districts in preparation for the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day on September 2.
Below are aerial images capturing the elegant harmony of ancient charm and modern architecture in Hanoi as seen from the helicopters.
