EXPERIENCE THE “NOBLE” HOA PHUONG DO TRAIN
This is a train that was launched by Vietnam Railways Corporation on May 10 with a bold interface of red phoenix flowers and luxurious interior. Visitors will experience many modern technologies, 180-degree rotating seats, semi-automatic doors, enjoy drinks at the bar and watch music performances, making the 2.5-hour train ride from Hanoi to Hai Phong a new experience.

Some important notes are that due to the opening on the occasion of Hai Phong’s large-scale annual festival, tickets are sold out quickly, visitors should book tickets in advance on the website of Vietnam Railways Corporation to proactively schedule their schedule. Visitors should arrive about 30 minutes before the train departs to settle in and have plenty of time to take photos and check in on the train.
WITNESSING THE PARADE AND MASS ART PERFORMANCES FOR THE FIRST TIME
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Liberation Day, Hai Phong city organized a series of large-scale events. ADMIRE FIREWORKS ON THE OPENING NIGHT OF THE RED FLAMBOYANT FESTIVAL

On the evening of May 13, the opening ceremony of the Red Flamboyant Festival will be held. Visitors will be able to enjoy exciting music performances by famous artists such as Tung Duong, Soobin Hoang Son, Anh Tu, Hoang Bach, Lam Bao Ngoc…. At the same time, the city will organize fireworks displays at 6 locations, including 3 locations with high-altitude fireworks and low-altitude fireworks: the area of the Political-Administrative Center Square in the new urban area of Bac Song Cam (Thuy Nguyen); the An Bien lakeside area, Ngo Quyen district and the Park and Square of Vinhomes Vu Yen Urban Area (Thuy Nguyen). 3 locations with low-altitude fireworks include: the area behind the Hong Bang District City Theater; the southern concrete yard, the Duong Kinh District Administrative Center and the Stadium, Tien Lang District. To see the fireworks, visitors should choose locations with clear views at the above locations.
ENJOY THE SUMMER SPECIALTIES OF THE PORT CITY
In addition to famous specialties that can be enjoyed all year round such as crab noodles, spicy bread, crab spring rolls, su din… Hai Phong also has specialties that are only sold seasonally. One of them is red jellyfish with dots, a dish that only appears in early summer from March to May. This dish is sold a lot in Hai Phong markets such as Cat Bi, An Da, and Co Dao markets. Although it is called a specialty, this dish is quite picky about who eats it. Even for Hai Phong people, not everyone likes it and can eat it.

The jellyfish meat is chewy, crispy, cool, has a slightly sour and sweet taste, and makes a crunchy sound when chewed. The fermented rice sauce is made from tomatoes, garlic, chili, coconut milk, fermented rice wine, and tapioca flour, and is slightly dark yellow, thick and viscous. The combination of jellyfish meat with the rich taste of coconut pulp, the slightly bitter taste, and the aroma of vegetables brings a unique flavor. For those who are eating it for the first time, the experience to know if you are allergic to jellyfish meat or not is to try a small piece first, then wait about 10-15 minutes to see how your body reacts.
